2. Data We Process and Purposes

We process personal data only to the extent necessary for the purposes set out below.

a) Course purchase & access

We process your name, email address, payment details, and course progress. This data is used to fulfil our contract with you under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. The data is provided directly by you when you purchase a course.

b) Payments

Payment data is processed by our payment service providers Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. and PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. for the purpose of fulfilling our contract with you (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and complying with legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).

c) Advertising and remarketing (Meta Pixel)

When you consent, we collect your IP address, device/browser information, pages visited, and actions taken on our website via the Meta Pixel. This is used for marketing, remarketing, and performance measurement under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. This data is collected automatically through cookies or similar technologies after you give your consent.


3. Processors and Recipients

We work with trusted service providers (processors) under GDPR Article 28 agreements:

  • Thinkific Labs Inc. provides our course hosting and delivery services. Your personal data may be processed in Canada, which is covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission. You can view their privacy policy here: https://www.thinkific.com/privacy-policy/

4. International Data Transfers

Personal data processed in Canada benefits from an adequacy decision by the EU Commission. Transfers to the USA are carried out under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or, where applicable, under Standard Contractual Clauses with supplementary measures to ensure appropriate data protection.


5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

In line with the German Telekommun-Telemedien-Datenschutz-Gesetz (TTDSG) and the GDPR:

  • Essential cookies are necessary for the functioning of the website (for example, to maintain your login or process orders) and are set without your consent.

  • Non-essential cookies and tracking technologies (such as the Meta Pixel) are used for analytics, advertising, and remarketing, and are set only after you give your explicit consent through our cookie banner.

6. Data Retention

We store course-related data for three years after course completion, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Payment records are stored for ten years in accordance with German tax law. Tracking data collected via the Meta Pixel is stored according to Meta’s retention policies and is deleted or anonymised when no longer required for the stated purposes.


7. Your Rights Under GDPR

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data (Article 15 GDPR)

  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data (Article 16 GDPR)

  • Erase your data (Article 17 GDPR)

  • Restrict processing (Article 18 GDPR)

  • Receive your data in a portable format (Article 20 GDPR)

  • Object to processing (Article 21 GDPR)

  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR)

We use encryption (HTTPS), secure storage, and restricted access to protect your data. Access is granted only to authorised staff and service providers who require it for their duties.
